The first Viet Nam’s Seafood Festival will be carried out in Can Tho in April 22-25, 2010.

Numerous activities, namely trade fair, investment promotion, seminars, granting awards for individuals and companies with significant successes in seafood sector; Mekong Delta’s culinary festival; visiting trips to farming area and seafood processing plants in the Mekong Delta, etc will take place during the Festival.

Chairman of Can Tho’s People Committee and Director of Viet Nam Seafood Festival in 2010, Mr.Tran Thanh Man emphasized that this event is an opportunity to popularize and develop aquaculture and fishing industry in the Mekong Delta in particular and in Viet Nam in general. This is also a chance to call for investment for culture and tourism development in Can Tho and in the whole Mekong Delta region as well.
